Geólogos Asociados S.A is the environmental consultant who is in charge of the environmental and biodiversity assessment in Total Austral´s Neuquén operational sites. The biodiversity campaigns mentioned are part of the implementation of a Biodiversity Action Plan, a mandatory document which must be designed for every TotalEnergies´ operational site. This document specifies implementation actions with the objective of reducing the impacts on biodiversity the company´s activities may produce. The actions involve biodiversity monitoring, conservation and restoration. Surveys were made covering 4 environmental units: Ravines and Canyons: includes a structural plain and active erosión headwaters and Alluvial lowland Transition area: includes alluvial lowland with eolic deposit, moving dunes, sandstone outcrops and polymictic soils. Antique terraces of Neuquen river This dataset compiles data from both a spring and summer campaign. Spring campaign (September 2024) 22 transects were surveyed, divided among the environmental units the following way: 8 in the transition unit 6 in alluvial lowland 4 in ravines and canyons 4 in antique terraces of the Neuquén River The transects were 500 m long and 50 m wide. They were traversed at a steady pace.
