Project Data
Las colecciones biológicas cumplen un rol crucial en los diversos estudios y proyectos que se encaran por parte de diversas disciplinas relacionadas a las ciencias naturales. Por este motivo administrar una colección actualizada que ofrezca a los investigadores diferentes formas de preservación de los ejemplares resguardados es importante. Por medio de este proyecto se pretende ampliar y modernizar a la colección ornitológica de FML, aplicando nuevas técnicas de preparación a los ejemplares adquiridos por medio de colectas o donaciones, además de las clásicas pieles de estudio, aprovechando al máximo la utilidad de estos, extrayendo esqueletos, muestras de órganos internos y muestras de tejidos para estudios moleculares.
