Description
La presente colección de ejemplares corresponde a macroalgas del intermareal rocoso y proveniente de arribazones del Partido de General Pueyrredón, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. El sustrato duro del intermareal de General Pueyrredón se corresponde con sedimentos loéssicos y tosca de la Formación Pampeana y por afloramientos naturales y artificiales (escolleras) de rocas ortocuarcitas de la Formación Balcarce. Parte de las colectas se corresponden con los muestreos vinculados a la Tesis de Grado en Ciencias Biológicas (FCEyN-UNMdP) de la Lic. Valentina Cudini titulada: Diversidad de macroalgas en sustratos duros y semiduros del Partido de General Pueyrredon bajo la dirección del Dr. Pablo Meretta y la subdirección de la Lic. Carolina Matula y al Proyecto EXA1093-22 Biodiversidad de arrecifes (BiodA) dirigido por el Dr. Pablo E. Meretta.
