Description

Este set de datos representa la familia Alstroemeriaceae con 396 ejemplares reunidos en 2 géneros, 72 especies, 1 subespecie y 1 variedad. La colección preserva especímenes secos recolectados en Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, México, Paraguay, Perú y Uruguay. Los materiales datan de finales del s. XIX, s. XX y principios del s. XXI. Los principales recolectores son: A. Castellanos, A. Kaprovickas, B. Rambo, C. A. O´Donell, E. Werdermann, H. Sleumer, L. Castillón, M. Lillo, M. Ricardi, R. de Barba, R. Schreiter, T. Meyer, y S. Venturi. Esta colección es curada actualmente por la Dra. Nora. B. Muruaga, en el Herbario LIL-HbF (Fanerogámico) de la Fundación Miguel Lillo.

La digitalización de las colecciones biológicas conduce a un acceso rápido y seguro, de acuerdo a estándares internacionales y a la vez mejora procedimientos curatoriales. En el marco del proyecto se trabaja con especímenes vasculares (No Helechos), que se encuentran depositados en el Herbario LIL-HbF de la Fundación Miguel Lillo.
