Description
La colección cuenta con 1355 especímenes conservados del Orden Anura (anfibios) y del Orden Squamata (reptiles). Representan principalmente a la herpetofauna de Argentina, y en menor proporción de la región Neotropical. Esta colección fue creada y desarrollada por el Dr. José Miguel Cei producto de sus campañas y trabajos de investigación en Herpetología. En 2007 fue donada por su creador a la Facultad de Química, Bioquímica y Farmacia de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis, Argentina. Actualmente está alojada en la Unidad de Herpetología de la FQByF y es curada por Bárbara Espeche, especialista en lagartos.
